East Anglia Food Link

East Anglia Food Link works to promote a more sustainable and localised food system across the East of England.

East Anglia Food Link were involved in the Making Local Food Work project between 2007-2009. Their work involved brokering links between local producers and customers.

Highlights from the work:

Brokerage of local supplies into educational establishments

• Yoghurt supplied to 240 schools in Cambridgeshire
• Meat and vegetable supplies brokered to a number of colleges at the University of Cambridge 

Exploration of the possibilities for a London Food Hub

East Anglia Food Link's report looks at the appetite for, and the viability of, a new collaborative supply chain for London based around a depot for local supplies.
