Market Research activity underpins all our promotional activity to ensure that it is meeting the aims of the MLFW programme and working to promote the new identity of Country Markets to the broader public.   Market research told us that the biggest barrier to customers buying our products was that the organisation is not widely known about – we’ve all heard Country Markets referred to as ‘Britain’s best kept secret’!  Very few respondents knew that Country Markets is a national organisation with over 90 years experience, that we have a national website and a Hamper Service and even less that we are a co-operative organisation, which is becoming increasingly attractive to the public.
