Sustainable Models of Home-Produced Food

Country Markets Ltd is a co-operative group of home cooks and growers producing and selling the best of British seasonal local produce through a thriving network of about 400 local markets. Homemade baked goods and preserves, home-grown fruit, vegetables, plants and crafts are sold at weekly venues across England, Wales and the Channel Islands.

In response to the growing demand for real food made by real people in real kitchens, Country Markets Ltd has launched a new brand, the Cooks of Country Markets, to develop the sale of Country Markets produce in England through retail outlets such as community-owned and village shops, farm shops and garden centres.

We hope that by opening up a new trading opportunity, new producers will be encouraged to join our cooperative, making quality, home-produced food available to many more local communities.
