Plunkett Foundation
Campaigns and Events Officer
£23-25,000
Woodstock, Oxfordshire
The Plunkett Foundation helps rural communities to take control of the issues important to them through community-ownership. Through a number of unique initiatives, from establishing community-owned shops to supporting community food enterprises, we help these communities create thriving places where people can enjoy living and working now and in the future.
Join us as Campaigns and Events Officer and you will work across the Plunkett Foundation and our range of exciting projects as well as play a key role in the success of our Making Local Food Work programme. This groundbreaking initiative, supported by £10 million funding by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, aims to help people to take ownership of their food and where it comes from.
Working with internal staff and closely with project partners, you will develop the campaigns and events of the Plunkett Foundation and Making Local Food Work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a good knowledge and understanding of local food, community-ownership and rural communities. If you are educated to degree level, with excellent communication skills and experience of developing and managing campaigns and events, this could be your chance to really prove your worth.
