Enterprise Support

Delivered by the Plunkett Foundation and Co-operatives UK, the Enterprise Support service helps community food enterprises to be more robust and sustainable business by offering specialist advice and support.

We can help your enterprise by offering:

  • Business advice: highly qualified and experienced consultants from the social enterprise and local food sectors provide face-to-face technical expertise and general business advice on such topics as business planning and marketing.

  • Skillshare mentoring:  one-to-one visits and structured mentoring for any individual within an organisation from mentors who have been there and done it, and who will listen and share their own experience.
  • Skillshare study visits: a subsidised and facilitated visit, hosted by successful community food enterprises. Leaflet with details here
  • Governance and legal structures: a dedicated helpline and tailored workshops to help enterprises select the right legal structure for them, and develop the best governance practices to ensure their sustainability.
  • Free workshops: we are currently offering a series of workshops around the start-up process of a community food enterprise. Details here.
